Tom DeLay has won the 1st round. A Texas judge has ruled that democratic District Judge Bob Perkins must recuse himself. This because of his contributions to such organizations as MoveOn.org, and the DNC. The chance of a fair trial is still questionable, however. A change of venue is next, though hardly certain.
