It is estimated that 45 Million plus abortions have been performed in America since the procedure was legalized by Roe v. Wade in 1973. And yet we as American's have the audacity to proclaim, 'In God We Trust' on our money; claim we are 'One Nation Under God,' in the Pledge of Allegience; sing 'God Bless America,' and ask at the end of every patriotic speech for God's continued blessing...

"And may God bless the United States."

45 Million abortions.

Why would God bless any nation with so much blood on its hands? He wouldn't even let David build the Temple, because of the blood on his hands, and David killed only a tiny fraction of 45 Million in all the wars he fought.

I submit to you, that God is not blessing this nation. Nor will He again, unless the nation turns from its wickedness and repents. Instead, God will bless those who do His will... the individual, who in turn is a blessing to those around him/her.

God will not bless America. Not with the blood of 45 million children on our hands.

Well, we are doing what we can to stem the flow of blood caused by this holocaust against America's unborn children.

Conservative principles are once again represented forcefully in our Supreme Court, thanks to President Bush.

A recent poll showed that a large majority of high school students do not believe in Abortion, And I have always believed that if the issue were to be put to a public vote, that Abortion would become illegal in most cases immediately.

The very reason that it is such a divisive issue is because it was snatched from the arena of public debate by the Courts.

God indeed forgives, and we as a Nation are in the process of repenting.

God Bless America. (At least those of us who are trying to do the right thing...)

You are more optimistic than I... I do not believe 'Abortion would become illegal in most cases'. The issue would, however-- should Roe v. Wade ever be overturned --be sent back to the states, where it rightfully belonged in the first place.

Instead of a "National Day of Prayer", this nation needs a "National Day of Prayer & Repentance". All the prayer in the world won't change a thing without repentance.
