Annan Calls for End to Fighting in Lebanon
U.N. chief 'deeply disturbed' his previous appeals going unheeded
--Associated Press

Okay. Without even reading the article, allow me to point out one glaring hypocrisy:

I imagine Israel is also 'deeply concerned' that her previous appeals for the disarming of terrorist militias intent on her destruction also went unheeded; her appeals fell on deaf ears... deaf U.N. ears. So why should Kofi expect anyone to care about his appeals, when he cares nothing for the suffering of Israelis?

Israel should tell Kofi to mind his own business.

Nobody else in the World pays any attention to U.N. Mandates and Resolutions...I don't know why anyone expects Israel to do it.

The U.N. is a joke. It needs to be disbanded.

I couldn't agree more. The U.N. gives the word 'ineffectual' a bad name.

Lash, I thought about how we can achieve Peace in the Middle East...

All we have to do is relocate the U.N. Building to Jerusalem.

Let's see how long it would take the U.N. to get behind the idea of stopping the attacks on Israel and facing up to what the real problem over there is if they had to live there...

Kofi Anon's hands are stained with just as much blood as Hezbollah's...

Kofi Anon starts corrupt food for oil program=food for oil=money to Saddam Hussein=Saddam Hussein funding the families of Palestinian homicide bombers=dead and murdered Israeli civilians.

All this SHOULD equal Kofi getting thrown in jail. At the very least, Israel should cite this and tell him to take a flying leap...

Yes, and only verifiable democracies need apply. No tyrants, kings, potentates, mullahs, supreme leaders. Especially no nations with extensive human rights violations.
