Thank You China!

For loaning the U.S. enough money so that I can receive a stimulus check.

Again, I say, Thank You!

I can see you are upset, but do not be mislead. Check out the link bellow it will show you were our debt comes from and who really backed the stimulus check.

Truth is our own Government and the people loan the U.S. a massive majority of the borrowed money.

I do agree in principle, but the reality is China DOES buy up a lot of our national debt in treasury bonds. For all the Left is screaming about how much the war has and continues to cost us, they seem to have no trouble sinking us deeper into debt with foreign nations who are all too happy to buy up our debt. I like the fact that I'm going to get a check, but how is this a good thing for our economy? In the long run?

I know I've sworn off here, but I just have a quick question: How exactly is it the fault of the Left that the US is going deeper and deeper into debt and that China and others are buying our debt?

You know, don't you, that the size of Gov't has risen MOST (and most dramatically) under Reagan/Bush/Bush and only slowed its growth with the Clinton years?

And China buying our debt is how capitalism works, isn't it?

I'm just failing to see how this is especially the fault of the Left.

I didn't say it was the fault of the Left. I'm only pointing out the irony in this particular situation.
