Obama went down to Egypt and cited what he called the "holy" Koran numerous times. He called for common ground among all faiths, declaring that Iran had the right to a nuclear facility for energy... huh? They have oil, why do they need nuclear power for energy? We all know they want a nuclear bomb.

Obama then threw Israel under the bus and told her to stop with her developments and the security of their nation, and then recites the Koran over and over in his speech. This is the very book that calls for Muslims to murder the Jews.

Why is this so dangerous for America? In Genesis 12:3 God says that He will curse those that curse Israel and bless those that bless Israel. I believe one of the only reasons God’s wrath has been delayed for America is because of our support for Israel, and now America has withdrawn this which puts us at great risk.

Add this to the national tipping point that brings God’s wrath. In the book of Nahum 3:19, the prophet Nahum shows up in Nineveh about 150 years after Jonah to tell the nation that God is not going to give them the chance to repent this time, but His wrath is going to come upon them. Why? Because in Nahum 1:11 we read that the people had begun to "plot evil against the Lord." Rejecting God is one thing, but plotting evil against him is the tipping point.

On June 1, Obama signed a proclamation that declared June as "Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, And Transgender Pride Month, 2009." Combine Obama’s throwing Israel under the bus and his 100 plus days of plotting evil against the Lord and I think we may be at, or near, that tipping point. The next few months will reveal whether this is true or not. In fact, when God finally chooses to bring His judgment on America, it would be a waste of time to even pray for mercy. No need for a national day of prayer.

In Jeremiah 7:16 God Himself declares to Jeremiah not to pray for Judah. "Therefore do not pray for this people, nor lift up a cry or a prayer for them, nor make intercession to Me: for I will not hear you." In Jeremiah 15:1 God tells Jeremiah, "Even if Moses and Samuel stood before Me, My mind would not be favorable toward this people." Then in Ezekiel 14 God says that when a nation sins against God in persistent unfaithfulness He will stretch out His hand against it. In verse 14 God says, "Even if these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they would deliver only themselves."

America has been turned upside down. We are in a time when men call Good evil, and Evil good. Tiller is elevated to sainthood, while any Christian unafraid to speak out against abortion, homosexuality, or any other moral ill is branded a kook at best, a terrorist at worst. Perversion is lauded and held up high as a virtue among other such liberal paragons and shibboleths, while biblical morality is first reimagined to laud and support the aforementioned paragons and shibboleths, but scorned and reviled when employed by more fundamentalist, back to the garden, believers.

Obama is destroying America, and no one seems to care.

We deserve whatever befalls America. What might this mean for true Christians? Whatever prayers they offer for America's repentance may only save themselves.

Absolutely right on, Eric. This is why we must work to impeach Obama.

People keep telling me I am wrong to suggest Obama is a closet Muslim working behind the scenes to destroy America from within, but so far, I've not seen any evidence that he isn't. And Christian? I see even less evidence of that in him.

What a curious idea. That god pays special attention to America and our culture and values and day to day society.

Tie-ing that together with the idea that only our lockstep support of israel has spared our country so far is well illogical.

Look at China. World's largest nation, no friend of israel, a country which does not have many of the human rights or freedoms we have in America. Yet I haven't seen any plagues of frogs there.

Or maybe we should discuss god's laxity on some of the dictatorships in Africa. Or maybe even european countries. Always examples of liberal depravity, but not examples of divine retribution.

Are the israelis of today, the same people as 2,000 years ago? If I moved to Israel would you have to defend and protect me?

    Think!!! Don't be a sheep.

"Suppose one reads a story of filthy atrocities in the paper. Then suppose that something turns up suggesting that the story might not be quite true, or not quite so bad as it was made out. Is one's first feeling, 'Thank God, even they aren't quite so bad as that,' or is it a feeling of disappointment, and even a determination to cling to the first story for the sheer pleasure of thinking your enemies are as bad as possible? If it is the second then it is, I am afraid, the first step in a process which, if followed to the end, will make us into devils. You see, one is beginning to wish that black was a little blacker. If we give that wish its head, later on we shall wish to see grey as black, and then to see white itself as black. Finally we shall insist on seeing everything -- God and our friends and ourselves included -- as bad, and not be able to stop doing it: we shall be fixed for ever in a universe of pure hatred."

Great quote, Ben. Great book. Would You care to make a point? Sounds like the American liberal who, hearing criticism of the Obama, says to himself, 'Thank God, even he isn't quite so bad as that.' but these are incapable of critical thought, unless it is to criticize-- as David Letterman spoke evilly about governor Palin and her daughter. But the truth is, these American liberals can't help themselves for they have been given over to a reprobate mind [Rom 1:28]. Now they find themselves in a process which, 'if followed to the end [and it seems they're nearing that termination]... [that] will make them into devils beginning to wish that black was a little blacker... wishing to see grey as black, and then to see white itself as black...'

    Thanks for the comment.

I really thought the point was self-apparent. You see Pres. Obama as more evil than he is. You desire to see him be even more evil, to justify your viewpoint. And C.S. Lewis asserts that these desires imperil your faith.

That when you post some condemnation and I reply with factual rebuttals, (here, here and here recently) you do not say, "Thank God, even they aren't quite so bad as that," That's why I feel this quote accurately applies to you and some of the others who post here.

I think Obama may be even more evil than either Eric or I think. I think it's beginning more and more to look like he is a closet Muslim intent on destroying this country from within. I havce hesitated up til now to call him thus, but look at the evidence:

He goes to Muslim countries and declares America is not a Christian Nation. Then, he compounds that lie by saying (not in these exact words, mind you) America is a Muslim country.

Then, he says Iran has a right to build nuclear weapons (again, not in these exact words, but we know what he means). Then, he warns the Israeli prime minister against defending Israel's rightful property.

He is setting America up for a big fall, and he has his useful idiots like Bent to help him advance his Marxist/Islamic agenda.

What I find particularly disconcerting, is his obvious attempt to make America a Marxist nation as well. This, curiously, is in direct juxtaposition with Islamic ideology.

The only thing worth considering now is how he will manage to install both a Marxist state and an Islamic state at the same time.

One thing is for sure. He surely wants to end America as a Republic. That's obvious.

Not necessarily. They have more in common than not and, historically speaking, have aligned themselves with one another for mutual benefit.

For example, in 1943 the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, Haj Amin el-Husseini, personally recruited Bosnian/Muslim soldiers for the Hitler's Waffen SS-- a unit called the "Hanjar (Saber) Division".

True, there is no ideological unity between Islam and Marxism (or Fascism for that matter), but then there isn't any real unity between Muslims beneath the umbrella of Islam. They are as confused and uncivil as denominational Christianity. That being said, there are more similarities between Islam and Marxism than Islam and Democracy.
