via the mind of a Blind-to-Self and Hypocritical Democrat. Yuck it up boys! You wouldn't know a Republican if he shook your hand, much less point one out in a crowded restaurant. The ideals that constitute a Republican cannot be seen with the human eye, they are discerned by the actions of the individual... not the speech.

It never surprises me how ignorant these people show themselves to be, who open themselves so easily to the inevitable serving of crow that all too soon gets laid before them... Simply because of their idiocy.

Democrats are not stupid, so it makes me wonder why they fall so easily into the very traps they lay for Republicans. And yes, I'm getting tired of the childishness on both sides of the aisle. Yet there seems to be more of it coming from the Dems. Why is that?

...

Yeah, I'm feeling better.

Hmmm... so which of those characteristics don't describe Ralph Reed?

You know--in life one encounters many types of people. The one type I despise the most is that person who must invent and vocalize falsehoods about another to make his/hesrelf feel somehow superior.

But the feeling is just that--a feeling.

Yep, let's list a few of those types... that would be Ann Coulter, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Cal Thomas, Pat Robertson, Jerry Falewell, John Gibson, Oliver North, Bill O'Reilly, Michelle Malkin...

We can see your fairmindedness shining through, Sol.

How pathetic. Go listen to your Airhead America broadcast!

I could list just as many names on the left Sol, but I won't. I could come up with an equally offensive "Anatomy of a Democrat" but I won't.

I'm just amazed at how petty the freaks on the left are. I don't know you well enough to label you a freak, which is why I didn't direct that to you, so please don't be offended.

I just wanted to illustrate the infection that's coursing through a portion of the democratic base. Yes, the right has it's own share of freaks, but I couldn't honestly apply that label to more than one on the list of notable righties you offer in example. And of that one, Freak is too strong a word.

In fact, Freak is probably too strong for most of the Lefties I've just labeled. A more politic description, from my perspective, might be that these folks are just plain.... poisoned.

Ralph Reed... Is he the whipping-boy du Jour for Democrats?

I thought Dad might bring up Franken. I don't deny that there are many outrageous blowhards on the left, too. But Franken is basically just a copycat answer to Rush, who perfected the kind of crap this original post was about.

Pathetic? Whatever, dude. Take it out on someone else. You've got no advantage in the fairmindedness department.

Ralph Reed struck me as a good example of someone who matches a solid majority of those labels in the cartoon. Besides, he kinda looks like the cartoon character!

All I'm saying is there's more than a bit of pot meeting kettle here, and the right is at least as guilty as the left these days.

And hey, I thought the moonbat thing was funny. Where's your sense of humor? Can't you guys enjoy a cartoon?

Air America is not just Franken, Sol! Franken is NOTHING like Limbaugh (who I have NOT listened to in over a decade with ANY regularity. Probably twice..maybe thrice in that time period).

Let's talk "fairness". Need we go any further than mentioning the Democratic leader in the US Senate's fondness for ringside seats in Vegas?

What's your point? Have I ever said democrats were above reproach? Have I ever said I was happy with the party? Have I ever even said anything NICE about any democratic politician?

Fact is, I want any corrupt politician to be caught and disgraced.

So yeah, let's talk fairness. Delay and Abramoff bilk Indian tribes out of MILLIONS of dollars. Not a peep out of Daddio. Delay lines his pockets with money from his bogus "U.S. Family Network." Not a peek from Daddio.

Jefferson takes a bribe. Daddio freaks out. "WHERE'S THE OUTCRY?" he thunders!

(Actually, there's a lot of outcry, from the left as well as the right).

Delay gets free golf trips to Scotland paid for by lobbyists. Not a peep out of Daddio. President Bush's chief procurement officer obstructs the investigation. Not a peep out of Daddio.

Reid gets boxing tickets. Daddio freaks out. "HOW DO YOU SPELL CORRUPTION?" he yells!

    How's that fairness?

Sol, You have never said Dems were above reproach. But please understand, the problem with us on the Right is we continually hear media-- and many on the left --attack our guys, and our philosophy, while remaining mysteriously mum on the "whys" and "wherefores" of their own political pets-- including their personal menagerie of RINO's. If we on the right seem.... defensive.... and more than a bit reactionary to Left-handed misdeeds, it's because we rarely hear the media defend the Right as assiduously as it does the Left.

The fact there is such a thing as a RINO says more in testimony to the extremes of the Republican Right than anything the Dems have ever come up with.

There are still a few conservatives in the Democratic Party. U.S. Rep. Dan Boren, son of former Sen. David Boren, and Mama ER's rep (would be mine if I still lived where I grew up in eastern Oklahoma) is one.

Lefty Dems grumble about Boren and other Blue Dogs some. But they don't vilify them the way y'all vilify Republicans In Name Only!

The day will soon come when y'all -- and I mean y'all on the Republican far-right fringe -- will either make up with the moderates and (gasp!) liberals in your own party, or you will go down in electoral flames.

Myself, I'm betting on, and hoping for, a conflagration, a fiery immolation if youy will. That's the ultimate fate of all ideologues.

    :-)

"...a fiery immolation... the ultimate fate of all ideologues."

My, such rhetoric! How can you point at Republicans and shout "Ideologue!!!" And fail to see Democrats on the edge of the very same "ultimate fate"?

    Yes, EL!

All you have to do is enter in to The Church of ER, take a seat at the communion table open to all, and listen to the preaching for a minute or two and you will see how upright and fair the preacher actually is.

Ideolougues? Gawd, ER! You are sooo ooOOOOoo deluded!

    Y'all are in power.

People outside of power, as the Dems are, are *supposed* to gripe. Beyond that, I don't know how to respond.

And yes, ALL are welcome at the Communion table.

Christian fellowship is one thing. Pretending that all Christians do Jesus justice with their professions and actions is another. They do not.

I made pretty clear, BTW, today, that the pastor of my church -- wait, until I join it in July, it is only the church I attend -- does not have all the answers.

    No. One. Does.

    No, not one.

    You got that right, preacher!
